Dr Grant Blackwell joined CSAFE as a Research Fellow in September 2004.  He has a PhD from Massey University, and has recently completed a research fellowship at the University of Sydney.  Grant has a background in mammal ecology, predator impacts on prey populations, and community ecology.  He is part of the Environment Objective in the ARGOS team, where his recent research has included studies of bird communities in farmland, and the impacts of farm management systems and practices on stream functioning and health.
