Research Programmes

CSAFE's core research activity is the ARGOS programme, but it also co-hosts the University of Otago’s Sustainable Agriculture Research Cluster, research into the social and economic impacts of new agricultural biotechnologies, and three Māori-oriented research programmes: the Kia Mau Te Tītī Mo Ake Tonu Atu (‘Keep the tītī forever’, Te Tiaki Mahinga Kai (‘Guiding sustainable food gathering’), and Te Hononga o nga Ao ( ‘Meeting of Worlds’).
