CSAFE Seminar Series

The CSAFE Seminar Series is an organised seminar series that usually meets fortnightly for the exchange of information, presentation of research results and lively discussion.

It is aimed at stimulating discussion and debate on issues related to the use and management of natural resources, farming (agricultural, marine & forestry), fishing & wildfood gathering. Key themes are:

  • sustainability & conservation
  • environmental stewardship
  • resource management
  • Mātauranga Māori, traditional ecological knowledge
  • social-ecological resilience
  • climate change
  • governance of resource use

With speakers coming from backgrounds as diverse as design, history, agribusiness and education we look forward to some lively discussion and informal debate.

As always, the discussion will be helped along by glasses of wine and snacks, so please come along – we’d love to hear your opinion on the issues that are presented in the research and challenges arising from them.

All welcome—please circulate this invitation to friends and colleagues.
