CSAFE is a partner in the Agricultural Research Group on Sustainability (ARGOS) research project studying sustainability through long-term monitoring and analysis of New Zealand farms representing various sectors and systems of farm management. This presentation will feature summaries of two emerging ecological datasets being generated by the AGROS environmental objective based on sampling on over 100 New Zealand farm properties. Preliminary baseline data will be presented and emerging research questions and analyses will be explored. This is a good opportunity to see some of the nitty gritty work involved in the ARGOS environmental objective and to exchange ideas and thoughts about what we might learn from this ambitious research effort.
